2011 ukadia Conference a huge success

Culturing growth: the contribution of specialist arts education to the UK economy and society

This year’s conference was a huge success, including speakers such as the Rt Hon David Willetts MP, Tamara Howe of BBC Children’s and Sir Christopher Frayling.  We have received excellent feedback.

"…the talent, vision, energy and drive displayed by the speakers and organisers and participants at the conference left me with hope for the future. "

"…this Conference was perfectly timed to not only share concerns about the future but to reaffirm the value and importance of widening participation in the creative arts through the work UKADIA and NALN have combined to deliver. "

"It was a wonderful venue, excellent hospitality and a stimulating programme of inspirational and pertinent speakers."
