The visual arts are one of the least diverse workforces, a characteristic shared by the Performing Arts. This lack of diversity is particularly important because of the scale and importance of the Creative and Cultural Industries to the economy.
Over the past four years, the National Arts Learning Network has worked collaboratively to tackle the widening participation agenda. ‘Don’t put us in your boxes’- Learning from the first four years of the National Arts Learning Network explores the legacy of NALN and offers pointers to issues for our ongoing work as part of ukadia.
