Cullen is currently in his third year of the Fine Art degree at Leeds College of Art and Design. He will be part of the first year to graduate from the new full time programme in 2009.

Cullen works across a variety of media including painting, installation and performance. He contributed and sold work at The Northern Art Show and has completed a summer residency at Battersea Arts Centre. He is currently working on a commission of three ‘Memory Paintings’. Upon graduating, he plans to work full time as an artist before studying an MA.

Cullen progressed to Leeds College of Art and Design via a BTEC National Diploma in Fine Art from Leeds Thomas Danby, having left school with no qualifications and worked in a call centre for four years. Leeds College of Art and Design are now formalizing progression links with the National Diploma course at Leeds Thomas Danby.
